Memories of Little Girl reader

I haven´t many memories about my childhood. But I have it of books, tittles and authors. I write concerning four moments.

First, my father was subscribed to Excelsior paper. My brother and me, every Sunday, received the comics. I remember Mafalda or Bringing Up Father. We were happiest with that activities. After, we began to read News Paper and books.

Second, we had Salvat and Quillet for children Encyclopedias, and we read notes about history and interesting tips. I read many stories of fairy world: mermaid and Oceans, bears, moon and planets. Of course, my father was a Science Fiction reader. So, my parents carried us to Cinema to watch movies like Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal and La planéte sauvage. I remember my favorite cartoon, in the same topic, Here comes The Grump! I was happy when my father bought me The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and I remember when I spoke with one friend of my father about Tolkien and magic heritage. Ahhh, beautiful memories!!!

Third, in my older bed room of father´s home there are many books.  I remember when I ordered many times these books. Sometimes, I ordered by issues, other occasions I organized by size or colors. Once I classified as already-read books and the to-read books. I played it. I felt pleasure. When I grew, I began to do a check list with my read books.

And four, buying books is coming principal work in my family. We have evidence when we came to Russian Books fair: many Russian books to children are mine, I loved it!!! After, we were going every year to Books fair at Palacio de Minería. Also, I remember when spellings my parents bought fairy books to me and Records Guiness´ Book to my brother.

Reading, seeing, buying, choosing, and enjoying books have been a magnificent experience of my life. I believe this book passion allowed me to become an History reader, writer and archivist.
